Welcome to the Farm
For five farming generations, Snake Creek Farms has grown fresh produce for Virginia and local surrounding communities. The Banks family has owned and operated this farm since 1943.The agricultural stewardship of this land is both an honor and a privilege.
Snake Creek Farms is committed to providing the best quality produce to its consumers and has taken the lead on developing programs to ensure the highest standards in food safety,traceability, and compliance with the Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
Some of our Produce
Fresh Greens
We specialize in several different types of greens. We grow Collards, Kale, Turnip Greens, and Mustard Greens.
Cabbage
The Blue Ridge Mountains are pefect for growing cabbage. It thrives on the cooler temps and clay soils. We grow both red and green cabbage.
Corn
We grow white corn, and sweet corn.
